While this is technically a "block" as it works the same way as other blocks, it is not used for defense. With two slashing swords the swordsman focuses on offense. With this block swordsman\'s parry suffers regardless of the weapons used, however, so it is not suitable for defense. This block also provides substantial bonuses to slashing skills.
